Death penalty should be given to drug traffickers. However, I thought not all drug traffickers are given a death penalty? Only drug exceeding a certain weight carried by the traffickers will be sentenced to death? In this case, the law has already loosened up a little. Allowance is given. So I think its still quite reasonable to implement this death penalty if not, drug abusers may ride over the city very soon.
Yes, sure should have dealth panalty. They traffic drugs to the country which affect both the social and economy. For because of those drug traffickers, many people will get exposed to drugs and thus resulting in social problems in sooner or later time. And because of those drug traffikers.. bring the whole economy down. and caused people so misery

Valid points here!
Punishment is a form of deterrent.
Serves as a harsh warning.
Just to challenge the group here.
1) Is drug trafficking equivalent to murder? Even some murderers do not face the death sentence.
2) IS there a better way to punish and more importantly rehabilitate the offenders?

A bit of a side-track here.
Have read this book a long time ago and i cannot remember the name. Think it's "cocaine".
Anyway, the point I want to bring up is that, in some countries like Columbia and Mexico, many people make a living from growing coca plants.
In fact, just like the IT industry, manufacturing industry, tourist industry, the drug industry is a HUGE (albeit hidden) one.

eLearning week is now officially over. If you choose to blog on to discuss more with your group members, do go on. This will definitely help you in your discussion café.
I would be still accessing this whenever I can.
